What is this?
Our clinicians will be available to provide day of care and guidance for athletes dealing with nagging or minor injuries. This service is offered free of charge to all attending athletes as a complimentary service of the Jerrell Steele Invitational.
Assessments and treatment may include movement screening, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative stretching or exercise, joint mobilization, and kinesiology taping.
While day of care is not intended to resolve significant injuries, it can help athletes feel more confident and prepared heading into competition. If an athlete is dealing with a more serious or ongoing injury, we strongly recommend seeking care ahead of time with a local specialist or contacting our office in Midlothian at (804) 378-6035 for guidance and/or care.
When is this?
Due to the length of the event and staff availability, our on site time will be limited. We will do our best to maximize availability and accommodate as many athletes as possible. Please complete the form below to indicate interest in being assessed or treated.
Once interest has been established, a sign up sheet with specific time slots will be sent out. Athletes who sign up for a time slot will be given priority over walk ups, so please keep an eye out for this communication.
Important note
On January 9, our clinicians will be in clinic until 12:00 pm and will not be available on site until approximately 2:00 pm.
