Who Is Jerrell Steele?

It’s hard to believe that 18 years ago we held the first Jerrell Steele Invitational gymnastics meet in honor of our great friend and fellow Coach, Jerrell Steele.

Coach Jerrell was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident on June 17, 2001.  He was a wonderful Coach and a ray of sunshine at the gym.  The athletes he coached and their parents will always remember his smiling face.  He adored the children and the children adored him.

We are honored to continue the tradition of the Jerrell Steele Invitational Men’s and Women’s Gymnastic Meet.
